Outreach Mark and Statement

Penn State Extension is one of the four major delivery units in the Outreach system; therefore, the Outreach nomenclature must appear on all marketing materials.

The College affiliated with the program or service being offered is included. External program partners may also be mentioned. See the following examples:

The standard line on all Penn State Extension materials will read:
an Outreach Mark program of the College of Agricultural Sciences

When multiple colleges are involved in an offering:
an Outreach Mark program of the College of Agricultural Sciences and the College of Health and Human Development

When materials include external partnerships:
an Outreach Mark program of the College of Agricultural Sciences and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau

When incorporating the county name:
an Outreach Mark program of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Cooperative Extension in Lehigh County

Placement
The Outreach statement is placed at the bottom of marketing materials.

Size
The size of the statement should be proportionate to the words "PENNSTATE" in the signature mark. Use a Univers or Arial font for words in the editable section of the statement.

Color and Reverse Application/Examples
For best results use standard black (example #1) on light backgrounds and reversed white (example #2) on dark backgrounds.
