Images-Photos, Clip Art, Illustrations

Kids Imagery is one of the most critical aspects of the GROW campaign. It is important to select images that depict the University in an appropriate manner and complement the content.

Whether the images are photographs, clip art, or illustrations-off-camera angles and unusual angles can be used to enhance the GROW concept. Use images that have the feeling of growing, learning, and extending.

With digital cameras available, it is a good and cost-effective idea to capture images yourself. If you take photos of events in your county or region, keep in mind the GROW theme. When taking photos of people, it is always recommended that you get written approval of use of the photos by having the people involved agree to sign a photo release form (PDF 56.6KB).

When selecting photographs, it is always important to use images of the appropriate resolution. Always use images that are 300 DPI at the final size. Do not use images pulled from Web sites, since they are 72 DPI and will not reproduce well.
