Extension Masthead
The masthead is strategically designed to promote the broad program areas that Extension serves. The words Agriculture/Community & Family/Environment are an integral part of the masthead.
Placement
The masthead should always appear at the top of the page. If there are instances where this arrangement does not work, contact
us for guidance on the design. For an example of an exception to using the masthead at the top of a design, go to the "Templates" page and view the PowerPoint template.
Size
The extension masthead is designed to be noneditable vector art. What this means is that the image will be used like a photograph or the Penn State signature mark.
The masthead is constructed and proportioned in a specific way. The precise arrangement of elements cannot be altered or rearranged; however, the masthead may be reduced or enlarged as needed.
Color and Reverse Application/Examples
For best results, use standard black (example #1) on light backgrounds and
reversed white (example #2) on dark backgrounds. For one-color printing, follow example #3.
