Cost and Registration

Tuition will be charged at the current applicable University rates. Tuition includes the cost of DVDs and a course notebook for the first two courses. You will need to register separately for each course in this series; enrollment in one course does not automatically register you for subsequent courses.

Registration is now open for both courses.

To register for the fall course, please download the fall registration form.
To register for the spring course, download the spring registration form.

Noncredit Option:
The noncredit tuition rate is $100 per course.

Choose this option if you do not want to receive graduate credit for your course work. Noncredit students can receive Continuing Education Units that will appear on a noncredit transcript.

Once you have registered for this course as a noncredit student, you will not be able to convert to credit status.

Credit Option:
The graduate credit tuition rate per course is $1,848 ($616 per credit). Students who enroll for credit must add the $75 technology fee for the first course. Choose this option if you want to receive graduate credit that will appear on a graduate transcript.

In order to process your registration, you must complete and submit Penn State's Nondegree Graduate Application Form. This form can be found online at:  www.gradsch.psu.edu/prospective/apply.html. You must apply online (electronically).  Do not apply using the printable version. Follow the instructions provided for Nondegree Applicants. On the Campus/Major/Degree page, choose "University Park" as the campus; choose "Nondegree Graduate" as your major; choose "None" as the degree; choose "Fall 2008" as the semester; and mark that you plan to attend "Continuously." Your registration cannot be processed until you've been accepted by the Graduate School (allow approximately three to five business days).

If you have completed this application in the past, you need not do so again. However, if you have been enrolled at Penn State as a graduate student or as a nondegree graduate student and are resuming study after an absence of one or more semesters (excluding summer session), you must complete a Resume Study/Change of Graduate Degree or Major form before registering for this program. Please go to the following Web site for further instructions and the form: http://www.gradsch.psu.edu/current/current.html

If you have questions about the Graduate School Enrollment process or your status as a graduate student, contact Graduate Enrollment Services at 814-865-1795.

Enrollment Confirmation: You should receive e-mail confirmation of your registration within seven to ten days of our receipt of your registration. The confirmation e-mail will contain information on how to obtain your course materials and access the course Web site. If you do not receive confirmation, contact Wanda Bickle by e-mail at wqb2@psu.edu or 814-863-6780.
