Our credit and noncredit certificate programs offer you professional development opportunities in a variety of fields. The four course 13-credit certificate can help you gain the skills you need for an entry-level position in the technology field. Certificate in Web Programing
This programming certificate covers the fundamentals of HTML and JavaScript and then teaches you how to create dynamic Web applications using PHP and MySQL—two of the standard, free, open-source technologies used worldwide.
English as a Second Language for Teachers (ESL)
ESL teachers can obtain the ESL Program Specialist Certification required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and earn Act 48 credits toward an advanced degree by enrolling in this 15-credit certificate program.
Instructional Strategies Certificate for K-12 Teachers
The certificate program in instructional strategies is designed to show teachers how to serve students better—through instructional strategies that emphasize differentiated learning techniques. Participants in this 12-credit certificate program can learn how to design new lessons based on cutting-edge instructional strategies addressing the varying levels of students.
