AutoCAD Tutorial (EDSGN 497G) is an introductory-level 2D and 3D Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) class using AutoCAD 2009 AEC software. CAD is used to create, edit, annotate, and document drawings used in architecture, engineering, and construction. This is a lab-oriented course where students learn to represent objects graphically and communicate this information using accepted drafting techniques, practices, and standards. All classes will be hands-on in the computer lab during convenient evening hours.
Who should attend
This course is ideal for those already working in architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, or an engineering-related field, as well as high school juniors and seniors interested in majoring in engineering or an engineering-related field. Participants can enhance their existing skills or learn additional skills that could prove to be a competitive edge.
