Student Life

Penn State Harrisburg

Penn State Harrisburg enrolls more than 3,900 students in thirty-two baccalaureate, twenty-two master's, and three doctoral programs. The admissions office helps adults find the right program to match their goals, explore our array of full- and part-time options, and access community and University support services, such as low-cost child care and adult-student community groups.

Continuing Education
Penn State Harrisburg offers evening and Saturday classes in clusters of four to six sessions, with students who share the same educational interests. With these certificate program clusters students can attain short-term goals and have the option of transferring credits into a degree program. Programs are offered on campus, at the Penn State Harrisburg Eastgate Center, and on-site at business locations. If a business opens a program to the public, new students are eligible to participate.

Degrees
Penn State Harrisburg offers the first two years of more than 160 baccalaureate degree programs that can be completed at another Penn State campus; thirty-one of these programs can be completed at our campus. At the transfer level Penn State Harrisburg serves students from all Penn State campuses, and students from community colleges and other accredited colleges and universities.

Professional Development
Penn State Harrisburg is a premier provider of on-site management development/leadership programs to the greater Harrisburg community, statewide, and throughout the continental United States. Our client base includes business and industry, state and federal government, health care, and trade associations.
