Student Life

Penn State Great Valley

Penn State Great Valley's School of Graduate Professional Studies, a part of Penn State's nationally recognized Graduate School, was created solely to accommodate the busy schedules of full-time professionals with courses offered in convenient, seven-week sessions. We also offer professional development courses for those seeking certification and career advancement. The campus is located in the Great Valley Corporate Center on the Route 202 high-tech corridor, just west of Philadelphia.

Continuing Education
Our professional development courses give working adults opportunities to advance their careers, pursue new careers, prepare for licensure, improve professional skills, and simply increase their knowledge. Other programs help returning students prepare for graduate study and ease their transition back into the academic environment. Our instructors are experts in adult learning and in teaching real-world skills that you can immediately apply in your workplace.

Degrees
Focused exclusively on working adults, Penn State Great Valley offers master's degree and certificate programs in education, engineering, information science, management, and training design and development. Courses are offered in seven- and fourteen-week sessions, with classes meeting in the evenings and on Saturdays. Students can concentrate on one course at a time and still complete a degree within two to three years.
