Subject: ethnography, at long last!

Well, I'm sure you'll all be glad to know that my ethnography project has been approved at long last. Here's how it will work . . . .

I'm sending you this note of explanation, which will be followed by two additional items:

1) an explanation of study/informed consent form, which you will need to print out and sign. If you have access to a fax (and if you don't mind using it for this purpose), please fax the signed form back to me at (814) 865-3290. If you have any problems printing out the form, or if you would rather mail it to me, please send me your "real world" (as opposed to e-mail) address, and I will mail you both a printed form AND a stamped, self-addressed envelope in which to return it to me.

2) a questionnaire. I have tried to keep this as brief as possible! Probably the easiest thing for you to do is to print out the questionnaire and then answer the questions in a separate e-mail message to me. Please answer all the questions to the best of your ability. Remember, your identity will be kept confidential, and if I choose to use any quotes in my final paper, I'll make sure they are NEVER associated with a particular name or e-mail address.
