Certificate in Organizational Communication (12 credits)

The certificate in organizational communication is a four-course, 12-credit program of study. To earn this certificate, you must successfully complete:

  •  6 credits of required courses
  •  6 credits of related electives
Required Courses (6 credits)
  • CAS 283 Communication and Information Technology I (3 credits)
  • CAS 352 Organizational Communication (3 credits)
Elective Courses (choose 6 credits from the following)
  • CAS 404 Conflict Resolution and Negotiation (3 credits); Prerequisite: CAS 100
  • CAS 452 Organizational Communication Theory and Research (3 credits); Prerequisite: CAS 202 or 252
  • CAS 475 Studies in Public Address (3 credits); Prerequisite: CAS 100
  • ENGL 419 Advanced Business Writing (3 credits); Prerequisite: ENGL 202A, 202B, 202C, or 202D
