Maple Harvest Festival and Pancake Buffet at Shaver's Creek

  • Learn how to identify and tap sugar maple trees and visit the Sugar Shack to see sap being turned into syrup!
  • Watch costumed interpreters demonstrate sugaring techniques used by Native Americans, pioneers, and modern-day farmers
  • Enjoy live music
  • See live birds of prey and reptile shows
  • Savor all-you-can-eat pancakes and maple syrup

Costs:
Festival and pancake breakfast—$8 for age 6 and up; Members $4
Organic sausage provided by Penn State's Sustainable Agriculture Club: $2
Members of Shaver's Creek are welcome to a free member's breakfast on Sunday from 9:30–11 a.m.
