Field Trips

All educational field trips address the Pennsylvania Academic Standards for Environment and Ecology and for Science and Technology, which are currently being tested by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Bring your lessons to life, and bring life to your lessons! Field trips to the center offer outdoor learning in a variety of areas ranging from guided tours to programs on insects and aquatics.

Our Aquatics/Watershed Ecology Walks in the fall are perfect for third and fourth grades! Click on Discovery Walks to learn more.

Students interact with one another and the natural world, exploring forested trails surrounding our environmental center or interacting with our live animals in the center. You will explore, observe, and learn to respect the flora and fauna of Pennsylvania.
