Location

The 2008 Airport Conference will be held at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Detailed travel information will be sent to registrants upon receipt of the conference registration form.

Note: FAA employees should contact Guillermo Felix for information about their lodging arrangements.

Accommodations

A block of rooms for conference participants has been reserved at the Hershey Lodge. To make your reservation, mail your completed room reservation form directly to the Hershey Lodge, West Chocolate Avenue and University Drive, PO Box 446, Hershey PA 17033. The form may be duplicated for additional reservations. Do not mail your reservation form to Penn State.

The Hershey Lodge is full. However, if you call 1-800-437-7439, staff will assist you in booking a room at a hotel near the Hershey Lodge.

All reservations will be accepted on a space-available basis until the block of rooms has been filled. Reservation requests received after the block has been filled, or received after February 16, will be accepted on a space-available basis only. The room block does fill quickly; we recommend making your reservations early. The group code is AIR 0314.

Ample parking is available at the Hershey Lodge. There is no charge for parking.

The Hershey Lodge will provide airport transportation from Harrisburg International Airport, if you notify them in advance. Please call the Hershey Lodge at 800-437-7439 or 717-533-3311. Cost is $35 for round trip service or $20 for one way.

If you plan to travel to Hershey by public transportation, we urge you to make your room reservation early so that you will be able to stay at the Hershey Lodge. If you stay at a hotel other than the Hershey Lodge, be sure to arrange your daily transportation, since no shuttle services to the convention center will be available.
