Penn State Wastewater Biology courses will resume in spring 2009.

Courses will be offered in several locations throughout Pennsylvania:

Penn State Wastewater Biology Courses are designed for:

  • operators and technicians of wastewater treatment plants, conveyance (sewer) systems, and sludge dewatering and disposal facilities
  • industrial and occupational health and safety personnel
  • managers and supervisors of food, beverage, textile, pharmaceutical, chemical, and pulp and paper plants

Penn State Wastewater Biology Courses provide an opportunity to:

  • improve process monitoring and process control techniques for cost-effective operation
  • learn biological troubleshooting techniques
  • earn continuing education hours toward operator training and certification
