Penn State Wastewater Biology Courses are designed for:
- operators and technicians of wastewater treatment plants, conveyance (sewer) systems, and sludge dewatering and disposal facilities
- industrial and occupational health and safety personnel
- managers and supervisors of food, beverage, textile, pharmaceutical, chemical, and pulp and paper plants
Penn State Wastewater Biology Courses provide an opportunity to:
- improve process monitoring and process control techniques for cost-effective operation
- learn biological troubleshooting techniques
- earn continuing education hours toward operator training and certification
