4-H Forever
Through Penn State 4-H, tomorrow’s leaders, scientists, farmers, and business people acquire a strong foundation built on the 4 H’s:
I pledge my head to clearer thinking,
My heart to greater loyalty,
My hands to larger service,
And my health to better living,
For my club, my community, my country, and my world.
Support the Future By Investing in Today
4-H is one of the largest youth development programs in our nation. Its success is largely due to public and private partnerships. Penn State 4-H provides educational opportunities and life skill development experiences throughout the state. Your support allows 4-H to reach more than 100,000 young people each year.
Since 4-H operating funds cannot provide incentive awards, trips, and scholarships, your support through private giving may be used to reward deserving 4-H’ers throughout the state.
Your funds will support four main areas:
-
Member Recognition
4-H members are honored for outstanding achievements. -
Leadership Development
The encouragement of leaders, both teens and adults, is the cornerstone of 4-H. -
Program Enhancement
Pennsylvania 4-H must continually improve its offerings and add educational and development programs to keep up with the needs of the youth and communities across the state. -
Endowment Programs
Endowments have been established through the Youth Development Fund to insure the continued success of specific projects, as well as the Pennsylvania 4-H Program.
Note: Your contribution can be designated to support a specific purpose that is important to you, or left unrestricted to be used where the need is greatest.
